How to Participate

  1. Get Inspired: Think about the traits that define O3DE and how they can come to life in a character.
  2. Create Your Design: Let your creativity run wild! Sketch, draw, or digitally design a mascot that you believe captures the essence of our brand.
    1. Submissions should be a visible representation of O3DE and the community. It should showcase a fresh and modern style, be bold and easily visible in digital and print formats, and have a welcoming and friendly personality.
    2. All submissions should take into consideration the global and diverse nature of our community.
    3. Submissions should not look similar to any existing brands, or use any elements that would prevent it from being trademarked.
    4. If you use AI-generated images, please let us know. We welcome them, but want to be extra mindful when we submit the final design to trademark.
  3. Submit Your Design(s): Submit your design via Dropbox by the deadline.
  4. Collaborate and Vote: Engage with fellow community members by providing feedback and voting on the designs.

  • Win a Prize: The creator of the winning design will receive O3DE swag and a feature blog.
  • Make an Impact: Your mascot will become the face of O3DE, seen by developers and gamers worldwide.
